DIAS Infrared presents PYROVIEW 512N which captures non-contact temperatures ranging from 600 ?C to 1500 ?C. The wavelength must be low when measuring extreme heat; therefore PYROVIEW 512N works within a spectral range of 0.8 microns to 1.1 microns for more accurate high temperature measurement. This is a unique feature of this device. Unlike standard infrared cameras, PYROVIEW 512N retards the affect of emissivity resulting in higher precision in temperature measurements. Another interesting feature is the use of high dynamic-Si NIR (Near Infrared Range) that is based upon signal characteristics logarithm. When compared with similar infrared cameras whose spectrum ranges from 8 microns to 14 microns, PYROVIEW 512N has a higher level of accuracy, especially when measuring very high temperatures.
